To borrow a phrase from the Marines ... We're Always Looking for a Few Good People. The Virtual Competitive Team consists of talented freelance professionals who are skilled in highly focused areas of expertise. Our associates work either full time or half time on projects, which can range from hours to weeks or months in duration. Although occasionally VCT members are required to be at a client's location, typically they work from a location of their own choosing.

We recognize that it might be in everyone's best interests if we covered a bit about our approach to working with clients and working with each other.

  • Our work approach is highly oriented toward taking advantage of new and emerging Internet capabilities regardless of our focus. Why? Because we can frequently find less expensive, faster, flexible and targeted solutions through utilizing the Internet creatively. What this effectively means is that we actively seek talented resources that demonstrate expertise in understanding and leveraging the Internet who continually refresh their knowledge and skills in this area to augment traditional expertise.

  • We work proactively on behalf of our clients and work best with other professionals who have a similar work ethic. What this effectively means is that we are not task oriented; we are client success oriented and we proactively seek ways to make them more successful within our areas of expertise.

  • We work within a context prepared for each of our projects. It is our belief that truly outstanding results are possible when people understand the goals, situation and challenges. Each of our projects begins with a context overview that will enable you to deliver great results.

  • We use weekly status reports for longer duration projects. This means that you will be expected to supply ... in bullet form ... a weekly overview of where your area stands as compared to the goals and objectives established.

  • We offer incentives for referrals from our associates. We also offer bonuses for outstanding work based on our observation and client feedback.

  • Demonstration of continual learning and application of that learning in your project is the surest way to gain our attention. We do not limit that to traditional forms of education; much of the best learning available is through seminars, talks, online education and other creative ways to hone your skills
